Connekt worked with St Johnstone FC to introduce a straightforward destination charging solution at McDiarmid Park.
The installation comprised:
2 × dual connector 22kW AC chargers, providing four charging connections.
The 22kW units are ideally suited to a football stadium environment, where vehicles are typically parked for several hours during matches, meetings, events or the working day.
Drivers can simply plug in and charge while spending time at the stadium, turning existing dwell time into convenient charging time.
The installation is backed by Connekt’s ongoing network management and 24/7/365 driver support, helping ensure drivers have assistance available whenever they need it.
The installation forms part of a wider relationship between Connekt and St Johnstone FC.
As shirt sleeve sponsor, Connekt’s branding appears on the club’s playing kit, taking the partnership from the car park onto the pitch.
